What I Hope You Remember This Thanksgiving
A gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and appreciate yourself.
Dear friends,
On this Thanksgiving Day, I want to take a moment to thank you—the listeners, readers, and thoughtful members of this community who show up each week with curiosity and an open heart.
Your presence matters.
Your willingness to think, reflect, and care for your well-being is something I deeply appreciate.
As you move through today, I invite you to try a simple practice:
Offer yourself one moment of gratitude.
Not just for what you have, but for who you are.
For your resilience.
For the small but meaningful effort you make each day to keep going.
For the ways you show up for yourself and for others—often quietly, without recognition.
If you’d like something tangible to try, here’s a practice I’ve taught for decades:
Tell yourself something you’re grateful for—five to ten times today.
It doesn’t need to be profound.
Just sincere.
Your inner mind will hear it.
And over time, these small moments of gratitude strengthen confidence, steadiness, and emotional well-being.
As we enter the holiday season, please know how grateful I am for you—for your support, your notes, your stories, and the community we continue to build together.
Golden light,
Dr. Richard Louis Miller
