The Art of the Attitude Reset
Why resetting your mood 10 times a day might be the best thing you ever do
Dear friends,
You wake up feeling good, ready for the day. But an email ruins your mood. Traffic gets under your skin. A dark thought sneaks in. Suddenly, the positive attitude you set in the morning is gone.
What do you do then?
You reset.
Take a pause. Breathe. Sit down for a moment and choose your attitude again.
Sometimes you’ll need to reset every half hour. Sometimes every 15 minutes. That’s not failure—it’s practice. And the more you practice, the quicker you get. Eventually, the moment you notice yourself slipping, you’ll be able to reset instantly.
That’s the power of repetition. A little, over time, becomes a lot.
In Master Your Mind, I call this process “the three-step dance.” It’s a 60-second practice for shifting your emotional state.
Most people believe their mood just happens to them—like the weather. But your attitude isn’t something you’re stuck with. It’s something you create.
The more you practice, the stronger you become at choosing how you want to feel.
From 90 Seconds to a Lifetime
This book came out of my 90-second videos on social media. Simple practices, easy to remember, each one helping you master your mood.
You don’t need dramatic breakthroughs. Just a willingness to pause, reset, and choose—over and over—until it becomes second nature.
Where is your attitude taking you today? Up or down? Forward or backward?
The choice, as always, is yours.
Golden light,
Dr. Richard Louis Miller

1-minute mind control (my new book)
Traditional mindfulness and meditation techniques often require a huge investment of your most precious resource (time) without guarantees of results.
My own version of mindfulness—what I sometimes refer to as “mind control”—can be mastered in much less time if you commit to regular 60-90 second practice throughout the day.
Breathing. Witnessing. Changing the channel on negative thoughts.
I’ve honed these techniques over a lifetime of personal and professional practice, and now I’m sharing them with the world.
